Olive Lovers’ Dream Dip – Creamy Feta & Green Olive Spread

  • 8 oz 225 g block feta cheese
  • 1 cup pitted green olives Castelvetrano or Manzanilla
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream/cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs chopped (dill, parsley, or basil)
  • Optional: red pepper flakes roasted red peppers, or capers

Method

  2. Rinse the green olives to remove excess brine.
  3. Cut the feta into chunks and place it in a food processor along with the olives, yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides as needed.
  5. Taste and adjust: add more lemon juice for brightness or olive oil for a silkier texture.
  6. Fold in the fresh herbs by hand.
  7. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
  8. Garnish with chopped olives, a drizzle of olive oil, and fresh herbs.

Serve with pita chips, crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.
Also works as a sandwich spread or as a topping for baked potatoes and grilled meats.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
