  • ¾ cup 150 g granulated sugar
  • ½ cup 100 g brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • For the Caramel Cheesecake Filling
  • 4 oz 115 g cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 –3 tablespoons thick caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • Optional for Garnish
  • Coarse sea salt flakes for salted caramel flavor
  • Extra drizzle of caramel sauce
  • Crushed graham crackers for a cheesecake-like touch
