Here’s everything you’ll need to create these irresistible Baja fish tacos from scratch.

For the Fish:

  • 500g (1 lb) white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or mahi-mahi)

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

  • 1 cup cold sparkling water or beer

  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Slaw:

  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage

  • 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage

  • 1/4 cup grated carrots

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Baja Sauce:
